In the new media age, doing things the old-fashioned way seems a bit out of place. That, however, doesn’t stop it from being irrelevant, says SEOP. Search engine optimization need not rely entirely on Web-based tactics alone; Offline SEO, as oxymoronic as it sounds, can greatly enhance any SEO campaign through means usually reserved for old-school advertising.
Take for instance, regular old business cards. The reliable standby for advertising business on an interpersonal level, a business card with website information can be very helpful in generating website traffic. On a related note, conventional networking and events, although more like marketing, can very well do the same thing.

Even old-fashioned advertising can work, albeit very passively. While it does not increase rankings per se, distributing the URL through TV, Radio, and Print can greatly increase awareness of the site.
SEOP adds that although the main SEO should remain online, the offline part of SEO can add to the overall effectiveness of the campaign, particularly for niches. And much like traditional advertising, offline SEO relies mainly on constant presence to create a closer tie between the customer and the brand, in this case, the website.

In the fast-paced world of SEO, any means of getting traffic to a website must not be overlooked; innovative, nontraditional means are encouraged. Turning back the clock can be just as good as moving forward. More information on offline SEO can be accessed from the SEOP.com blog:www.seop.com/blog.
